Ghida Fakhry is an international news presenter who served as Lead Anchor for the Americas at the Washington DC broadcast center of Al Jazeera English at the launch of the global channel in 2006. She anchored the channel's US election coverage from Washington DC and later moved to AJE's headquarters in Doha where she covered major breaking news from the region. She was one of the primary presenters of the Newshour. Ghida Fakhry previously served as principal news anchor for the prime-time LBC news program, The World Tonight, broadcast from London and was a regular foreign policy analyst for major US/international channels.
